Apevie’s founder, Fuan Borat, is a fellow SCCA racer and brings his experience to tuning his sims to provide an amazingly realistic feel to the motion dynamics. Apevie began in 2015 inside a Newport Beach garage, built by drivers for drivers. The founding team was already racing competitively across California circuits, and the first simulator was never meant to be a product — it was a tool. A custom-built rig designed around our own driver profiles, telemetry, and track preparation needs, engineered to translate seat time on-screen into real lap time on the track.
“Word traveled fast. Teammates wanted their own,” said Fuat. “ Their friends followed. Then family, then the broader Southern California racing community. What started as an internal advantage became a waiting list, and by 2019 Apevie Simulator LLC was formally established to meet the demand.”
Today, Apevie is recognized as one of the leading turnkey simulator builders in North America. Apevie’s racing sims are powered by custom-designed PCs by BILLT PC’s, run by Bill Marcial. Bill is also a long time SCCA member out the Chicago Region, also taking 1st in B-Street at the SCCA Solo National Tour Chicago Region Event in 2024. Bill has been a long-term participant in the motorsports and SIM community. Carrying 18 years in SIM and 14 years in motorsports, Bill and his team bring this skillset and knowledge to provide robust PCs that can meet the demands that top-flight sim racing requires.
