Sacramento CUP
Championship Series:
The Sacramento Chapter will, again, be hosting a ten round autocross
Series for The Sacramento CUP in 2001. All ten events will be held at Mather
Airport. Refer to the autocross schedule
elsewhere on this site. Our annual Autocross ENDURO
event with trophies at Mather Airport will complete the season and set
the stage of the Sacramento Awards banquet
in November.
The Sacramento CUP will have two drops of your worst score and yearend
Trophies will be awarded to all entrants in class that attend at least
fifty percent of the events. A special award will
be given to all participants attending 100% of the CUP events.

Sacramento
2000 PAX Championship:
The Chapter has decided to continue the PAX Championship competition
for the 2001 season and award Trophies to the top ten PAX finishers in
Open class and the top ten PAX finishers in Ladies class.
Your finish position in PAX can be found in the far right column of
the results you receive in the mail after participating in an event.
Scoring for the PAX point standings is somewhat different then that
being used for the CUP, but is the same as we did in previous years:
First, there are no drops. Your score in all ten events count towards
your final PAX point standings.
Second, the PAX winner of an event will receive points equivalent to
the number of entrants at the event. The second place finisher in PAX will
receive points equivalent to the number of entrants at the event minus
one. The third place finisher in PAX will receive points equivalent to
the number of entrants at the event minus two, and so fourth and so on,
until the last place finisher in the PAX receives one point.

A Valid Drivers
License MUST be produced at registration at each event in order to compete.
SCCA Solo 2 rules, Section 4.1 states "Drivers must possess a valid automobile
driver's license." Sacramento Chapter interprets this rule to mean that
the driver's license must be in the possession of the driver at registration,
and displayed to the registrar. If you are unable to produce your valid
driver's license you will not be allowed to run.

Nationals
Tune up: With the loss of the McClellan
A.F.B. site and the crunch for event dates at Mather Airport, Sacramento

Mark Your Registration
Cards Carefully!
Your class is what you put on your card unless your car is not
valid in the class you put; then you are subject to disqualification. Protests
to change you from the class that you put on your card will fail,
and be a waste of $25.00.
