Approved Treasurer’s report.
(7 0 0).
Mather management has been
contacted to schedule events for next year.
Rich Urshel agreed to
contribute articles to the wheel for next year’s events.
Discussed at length the need
for clarifying procedures for granting reruns around stopping for downed or
displaced cones and stopping for worker safety.
Motion to add wording to
supplemental regulations drafted by Brown and given to Weisickle for inclusion
in supplemental regulations to state procedures on course elements which
include multiple laps or overlaps Passed
(7 0 0).
Weisickle to do additional
investigation to frame wording applying to reruns granted due to worker safety
or interference. It was recognized that
worker safety is paramount and that priority must be maintained.
Mather EVOC has marked their
cone locations with paint.
Discussed corner case ruling
of what happens when a cone emerges from a car on course. We had an incident where a cone was stuck
under a car, apparently overnight, and came out in the next day’s run. Affirmed that a car can only be charged with
a cone when it is observed to hit the cone.
Moved to adjourn.
(Approved) Adjourned 9:19pm.
Respectfully Submitted,
Rick Brown
Secretary
