Old Business

Approved minutes of last meeting (7 0 0).

Approved Treasurer’s report. (7 0 0).

Doug purchased 7 new helmets.

Discussed how the National “First Gear” and local “Speed Freeks” programs work. Motion to align more closely with the National First Gear program for subsidies. We will charge $25 but it will be for the First Gear National program. We will discontinue the local Speed Freeks program. This will apply to drivers age 24 years and younger. Approved (7 0 0).

New Business

Appointed nominating committee for board positions comprised of Gayle Smiley, Tom Smiley and Tom Nivison.

The nominating committee made the following nominations:

Chapter Executive: Doug Hubbard

Assistant Chapter Executive: Bob Weisickle

Secretary: Rick Brown

Treasurer: Al Patterson

Competition Director: Ken Yeo

Publicity Chairman: Ken McCulloch

Membership Chairman: Harold Olsen

Motion to approve the nominations from the nominating committee. Approved (7 0 0)

As there were no other nominations from the floor, the election is uncontested and ballots do not need to be mailed per the bylaws.

Bob Weisickle performed repair and replacement of timer system wiring. Boxes modified to shade timing lights and reflectors. Also added new adjustable bases.

Gayle will procure quick patch and deliver to Tom Nivison to take to Stockton.
