Old Business

Approved minutes of last meeting (7 0 0).

Approved treasurer’s report. (7 0 0).

Discussed improvements to timing lights. We will add 3 legs to each light in order to stabilize them. After hanging in the trailer all winter the square crates distorted and the lights were teetering in the wind. Also, Bob Weisickle is working on testing an improved light that if testing goes well we will use to replaced our existing timing lights.

The temporary membership requirements added significantly to registration workload. The last minute requirement for passengers to execute temporary membership paperwork was also disruptive.

We have confirmed the date for the Shriners Benefit Autocross. It will proceed as planned..

Discussed a suggestion by Jay Williams to split ladies classes out from certain run groups in order reduce the number of 3 driver cars at events. Had long discussion about the time it takes to run 3 driver cars.

Motion by Brown that if the AS participants agree, ASL would shift two run groups from AS starting next year. Motion defeated (3 4 0).

We provided 50 of our worse cones to Brett Blakely.

Motion to ask Tom Nivison to coordinate getting the Stockton site vacuumed before the next event. The grid area was particularly bad at our first event. Passed (7 0 0) C. Miller to contact Tom.

New Business

Discussed what to do about competitors who not work. Decided to do nothing beyond withholding points at this time.
