Old Business

Approved minutes of last meeting (7 0 0).

Approved treasurer’s report. (7 0 0).

Tom Nivison made a special trip to Stockton to oversee site vacuuming. Thanks Tom!

Ray will talk to Stockton Fairgrounds concerning their repaving plans.

Bob Weisickle received the new printer today. Thermal printer. Parallel printer. Candi has receipts from Bob.
The intent is to use this printer for special test and tune events where we have a need to print out multiple segment times.

Postmortem of Shriner’s event at Mather.

Raffle went very well.

Ran too long on Saturday. High number of DNFs and cone counts. Cut runs back to 3 runs on Sunday.

Long discussion about improvements we can make for next year including: Tech groups other than group 1 offline. Still tech group 1 on grid. Also possibility of A and B grids to speed teching cars. Change start time to 8am. Advertise start of afternoon group no earlier than 11:30 instead of 1pm. Would allow starting afternoon as early as 11:30 but more likely at least by noon. Ask for additional hour on the use permit.

New Business

Next year’s Shriner’s event at Mather is June 7 & 8.

Motion to add to the Sac Chapter supps requirement that Karts and cars do not move at the same time. The event chairman may adjust the run schedule and/or number of runs during the event, provided there is a 30-minute gap between the announcement and implementation of the change.

Discussed how to handle Karts for the first run group. Inverted grid can’t apply since we don’t want to intermix cars and Karts on the grid with cars and Karts moving at the same time.

Motion to remove the following statement from the supps:

“The event chairman may adjust the run schedule and/or number of runs during the event, provided there is a 30-minute gap between the announcement and implementation of the change”. Seconded. Approved (7 0 0)
