Sacramento Chapter Board

7/19/07

 

Attendees:  Candi Miller, Ray Miller, Brown, Hubbard, Olsen, McCulloch, Yeo

Guests:     Bob Weisickle, Tom Smiley, Jay Williams, Tom Nivison, Al Patterson, Brent Blakely.

 

Meeting called to order by Ray Miller at 8:35 pm.

 

Old Business

 

Approved minutes of last meeting (7 0 0).

Approved treasurer’s report.  (7 0 0).

 

Bob Weisickle discussed the new timing slip printer.  We will try it out at next weekend’s event.  Will run cable over course if necessary to avoid timing slip person having to cross course or in front of car to deliver timing slip. 

 

Safety stewards.  Brown and Weisickle are now current.  Ray Miller working on making DVDs of safety steward training video tape to facilitate training of additional safety stewards. 

 

Approved changes to supplemental regulations as amended.  (7 0 0).

 

New Business

 

Will attempt new Kart running procedures to address problems of Kart event delays and issues where Karts run in first run group but can’t be reverse grided with cars.  Will try running junior Karts first and other Karts last in the rotation irrespective of run group.

 

Trailer is in Sacramento.  Event this weekend is in Stockton.  Trailer will need to be relocated to Stockton.  Ray Miller will transport it to Stockton Saturday morning.  E.J. Fontaine and Al Patterson are the event chairs for Saturday and Sunday respectively.

 

Brent Blakely discussed Rallycross. 

 

Report of nomination committee by Bob Weisickle.  Existing board members were contacted and agreed to run for existing positions.  No other interest was expressed and no other nominations were received.  The nomination committee nominated the existing board members.  Per the bylaws, no elections will be held and the existing board will carry over to next year.
