General Event Information

  • Events are conducted according to SCCA Solo II rules, as amended by Sacramento Supplemental regulations
  • Entry Fee: $75
  • By entering you agree to work your assigned work group;
  • Valid drivers' license is required.
  • Helmet is required: Snell '90 M/SA or later ONLY; A few loaner helmets are available but not enough so bring your own.
  • This is a pre-registration event.
  • The maximum numbers of entrants is sixty-six.
    • Fill out the Drifters pre-registration form and mail, with your entry fee, according to instructions on the form.
    • Deadline for registration is March 12, 2005. A minimum of forty entries must be received by the deadline.
    • If the minimum number of entry's are not received by the deadline the event will be changed to a Solo II practice and all drifting entry fee's will be refunded.
    • Registration check-in is 8:00 a.m.
    • Safety tech inspection on grid at 8:30 a.m. Batteries tied down, no hub caps, seat belts, helmet (Snell 90 M/SA or later), all lug nuts in place, no fluid leaks and general street safety compliance.
    • First car out at 9:00 a.m.
    • There is no on-site, same day, registration.
  • Cars will run drifting practice continuously from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be three exercise courses and groups will rotate through the courses throughout the day.

  • Registered entrants, as of 3/18/2005
  • We're over subscribed with six more entry's received today postmarked March 11. Any further registration forms, postmarked on or before March 12, will be placed on the waiting list below.
  • With sixty six cars the grid structure would be eleven cars in each line with three lines running on parallel courses and the other three lines working course.
  • With eighty one cars, the grid structure would increase by 2.5 cars per line.
  • The increase should have a minimal impact on seat time and the Sac Chap Board of Directors has decided to try and accommodate the overage.
  • We will extend the "cars on course event time" to 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
