How we Run Events in 2007

KARTS

Street Tire

• Street Touring Sport 2 (STS2) -- The Special Regional class ST2 has been discontinued in favor of the National Supplemental Class STS2. Rules in the Solo Rulebook for STS2 will define this class in SFR.  
• Street Touring Ultra (STU) -- The SFR implementation of supplemental class STU has been discontinued in favor of the now fully supported standard National Class STU. Rules in the Solo Rulebook for STU will define this class in SFR.  
• KARTS 
• Kart Drivers, please tell Registration you are Karters. 
• Read and become familiar with the SFR Karting rules before the event

Karts will not be allowed to be driven under power through the paddock; they must be pushed either on the ground or on a portable stand

 

• Street Tire Classes -- SFR runs four indexed Street Tire classes (Just as in 2006).  These classes are indexed using the SFR performance indexes for the current year.  Stock Street Tire and Stock Street Tire Ladies allow stock category cars running street tires to compete;  SP/SM Street Tire and SP/SM Street Tire Ladies allow SP category and SM cars to run on street tires.   Must be legal according to their class rules.  Must run tires with treadwear rating of 140 or more.

At each event, classes generally run one run group later than at the previous event
