General Information About This Event
- SCCA Members only, cost = $35.
- No rungroups, but you will have to work a 1.5 hour work assignment during the day.
- We will start running at 9AM, stop at 6PM (or whenever folks give up), so 6 shifts total.
- Reg open from 8AM to noon only, car must be teched before running (2007 SFR Annual Tech is fine), tech also closes at noon.
- We will figure out numbers of workers per timeslot when we get an idea how many show up.
- We will set up the timers (including split time) on the course, but not run the laptop interface to it.
- Ed Runnion will work with Charlie on the course setup for this, but what may be most useful is a "slalom intensive" half before the split and a "sweeper intensive" half after the split (or vice versa).
- We will not be announcing, posting, results, etc (i.e. pretty much an empty motorhome while we are running).
- It'd be highly advisable for you to get a helper to write down your times.
- There will also be a unmanned skidpad set up on the corner of the property, no timers.
If you wish to use the skidpad, you are responsible for getting help and a timer person (i.e. stopwatch) over there...
I'd suggest that the skidpad will be a lot more useful if you have some sort of datalogging capability in your vehicle :).
