How we Run Events in 2001
General Event Information
-
Events are open to SCCA members only.
Membership card must be presented to run. Memberships may be purchased
on site, but you will not be allowed to run until your card arrives from
SCCA. Join early. See the button on the top of this screen.
-
The event will be conducted according to SCCA Solo II rules, as amended
by SFR Supplemental regulations
-
Karts in SFR events are governed by
the SFR Kart Rules
-
SFR Handicapping indexes, which are based on
the most recently published PAX indexes, will be used to calculate
indexed class standings (e.g. Novice classes, Street Tire).
-
Entry Fee: $25;
-
By entering you agree to work your assigned work group;
-
SCCA membership card and valid drivers' license are required;
-
Helmet is required: Snell type M or SA, '90 or later ONLY; Loaners
are available.
-
First run group is run on an "inverted grid":
-
First car to arrive on grid is put into last position;
-
Last car to arrive will run first;
-
Cars in the first run group will be tech'ed on grid.
WHY? Because the first car out each day runs on a slippery, dirty track,
and smart drivers want others to clean it off for them. Grid Early.
General Event Schedule
-
For first half run groups arrive 1 to 1 1/2 hours before the first
car out to walk the course, register and have your car tech'ed. Help is
appreciated in setting up the course and marking cones.
-

Other run groups have no set schedule, but start as soon as possible
-
For second half run groups, arrive no later than 11:30 AM;
-
Registration closes at NOON;
-
A course walkthrough is offered just before the MANDATORY
Afternoon Drivers' Meeting which will not start before 12:30

however, tech will close at 1:00
PM;
-
Please stick around and help clear the site!
