New Classes:
  • KARTS
  • The Kart Classes are F125 and Formula Junior 1
  • Kart classes will have no entrant limits this year
  • Kart Drivers, please tell Registration you are Karters.
  • Read and become familiar with the SFR Karting rules before the event
  • Karts will not be allowed to be driven under power through the paddock; they must be pushed either on the ground or on a portable stand
  • NEW Rookie Classes

  • We have changed the makeup of our Rookie Classes. As before, all Rookies in a Rookie Class -- say, Rookie 1 -- compete for a single set of trophies. But all rookies wil now run in the same run group as their Open Class. The Rookie Classes that run together will make up a separate Rookie Class.

    As a result we will have 5 Rookie Classes:

    1. SS-R, FS-R, ASP-R, BSP-R, ESP-R
    2. OSP-R, F125-R, Mod-R
    3. DS-R, ES-R, GS-R, HS-R, DSP-R
    4. AS-R, BS-R, CS-R, Prep-R
    5. CSP-R, Street Touring-R
At each event, classes generally run one run group later than at the previous event

General Event Information

  • The event will be conducted according to SCCA Solo II rules, as amended by SFR Supplemental regulations
  • Entry Fees: Special Fresno Rates: $25 SCCA members; $35 all others;
  • By entering you agree to work your assigned work group;
  • Valid drivers' license is required; SCCA membership card is required for discount;
  • Helmet is required: Snell type M or SA, '85 or later ONLY; Loaners are available.
  • First run group is run on an "inverted grid":
    • First car to arrive on grid is put into last position;
    • Last car to arrive will run first;
    • Cars in the first run group will be tech'ed on grid.
    WHY? Because the first car out each day runs on a slippery, dirty track, and smart drivers want others to clean it off for them. Grid Early.

  • Morning Drivers' Meeting Starts 8:30 AM; First car out 9:00 AM.
