Beginners are always welcome! Be sure to tell the registration people you're new, and we'll find someone to help you and tell you about the rookie class.

Safety Steward Class at this event! FREE!

Our events are safe in large part because of SCCA's excellent saftey steward program. Your help is needed to maintain that tradition. You can learn what it takes to insure a safe event, and give something back to motorsports. Brian Nemy, (510)483-2160, our Safety Chief, will hold a class at this event. Please contact him to sign up.

The class will involve:

A Safety Walkthrough at the noon break

Class time after the event at Rickey's Sports Bar/Restaurant in San Leandro.
Food/drink is available at your expense.

We keep running 8 run groups for now:

At each event, classes run one run group later than at the previous event
Joint events with Sacramento or Fresno Chapters may not follow this scheme.

General Event Information (NOTE NEW FEES!)

Entry Fees: $25 SCCA members/$35 all others;
By entering you agree to work your assigned work group;
Valid drivers' license is required; SCCA membership card is required for discount;
Helmet is required: Snell '85 or later ONLY; Loaners are available.
First run group is run on an "inverted grid":

First car to arrive on grid is put into last position;
Last car to arrive will run first;
Cars in the first run group will be tech'ed on grid.

General Event Schedule

For first half run groups arrive by 8:00 AM to walk the course, register and have your car tech'ed
First car out at 9:00 AM;

For second half run groups, arrive no later than 11:30 AM;

Registration closes at NOON;
Technical inspection close at 1PM;
