It is with great sadness that I report of the passing of Tony Clifford on 8/23/06. He had a brief battle with cancer and passed with his family at his side.

Tony was a longtime SCCA member and SFR member since the early 90's. He started racing a G Prod Sprite with Cal Club in the early 80's, ran IMSA's Renault Cup in the 80's and later Spec Racer Ford with SFR. More recently Tony had worked with the Jim Russell School and NASA as an instructor.

He was a wonderful person that was taken from us way too early.
