John Zanardi, long-time SCCA member and Infineon Worker Trans worker, passed away on November 24, 2009. John was diabetic since childhood and suffered from its many complications for a number of years.

Services were held December 12, 12 PM, at Sequoia Christian Church, 233m Topaz St., Redwood City, 94062.Donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.

John is the son of Chuck and the late Lucy Zanardi, long-time SCCA members. Lucy died several years ago. John was also preceded into heaven by his brother Chris who died a couple of years ago. 

John worked on the original Worker Trans crew at Laguna Seca and has been working on the  Infineon Worker Trans crew for a number of years. John won a SCCA Board award this year (2009) for all the work he has done with the Worker Trans crew.

John loved the SCCA. He considered everyone in the SCCA his family. Lets not forget that he recently received an award at the banquet. I will miss him greatly..
