Jerri Fletcher was a member of the SFR Communications crew in the 1970's and will be remembered by many of our volunteers.

Miss Geraldine ("Jerri") Rose Fletcher died at Davies Medical Center on October 10, 2009, after a brief illness.

Jerri was born on September 14, 1939, in San Francisco, to Walter and Rosaline (Viera) Fletcher (both preceded her in death). She graduated from Eureka, California's St. Bernard's High School (1957) and Humboldt State University (1961).

She was a longtime resident of San Francisco's Outer Sunset neighborhood, a retired computer systems programmer who had worked for Lockheed and Bank of America, an enthusiastic member of the Sports Car Club of America, and a lover of cats and crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her loving siblings, Marylee Glace (Jim), Penny Kukuk, and Walter Fletcher (Kathy), who were all with her when she died. Jerri doted on her nieces and nephews, Jason Fletcher, Emily Purdy, Sarah Purdy, Charles Purdy, and Tim Kukuk (Kelly), and her great-niece and -nephew, Jenny Kukuk and Jake Kukuk. We love you, Auntie Jer!

At Jerri's request, there will be no public service. Donations in Jerri's name may be made to the San Francisco Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
