Late entries, post entries, withdrawals and refunds

Late fees: If your entry is received after the entry deadline, a $30 late fee will be added. The entry deadline is two Fridays before the event starts. For example, if an event begins on Friday, April 25, the entry deadline is Friday, April 10. In actual practice, the late fee will not be added to your entry if it has arrived in the Region Office by the Monday morning after the deadline. Late entries are accepted until the Wednesday before the event, after which time new entries become post entries.

Post Entries: Post entries are those received at the Region Office after noon on Wednesday before an event and entries received at the track. Post entries are assessed a $50 fee. For a post entry, the driver must go to Registration, receive the Change/Late Entry form which must be taken to Timing & Scoring and then to Tech. The form must be completed before the driver can go on track.

Withdrawals and refunds: If for some unexpected reason you cannot get to the race event, you will be considered as a “withdraw”. If you contact the Region Office by the Wednesday before the event to let them know you cannot make it, your total entry fee will be refunded.
If you do not register at the track or go through tech inspection, after the event your entry fee will be refunded or credited, minus a $25 handling fee. If the entry was made by mail or fax, a refund will be processed automatically by the Region Office.

If the entry was made by online registration, a credit will be entered in the driver’s online account. A driver may request a refund instead of a credit by contacting the Region Office after the event.

If you are at the track, you went to Registration and the car has been through tech inspection, and for some reason you cannot race, you can still withdraw. To do this you must notify the Chief of Tech before the first session, complete a Withdrawal Request form, and turn it into Tech.
