C. "Mindy" Allen, wife of Howard "Duckster" Allen of Oregon Region passed away December 19, 2008.

It is with the utmost sadness I must report that just after eight
o'clock PST this Evening (12/19/2008), my favorite corner worker lost her battle with lymphoma.

After spending the day with the likes of Kadi Brewer, Greg Bell,
Cathy Frasier, Gail Fetterman, Richard & Kimberly Kuzma not to
mention Jeff Zurschmeide she went to sleep and did not wake-up.

Everything I learned about courage I learned from her. She looked
death straight in the eye and never blinked. She died like the life
she lived, she was a Pro.

Our government spends more in two weeks in Iraq then it spends in a
year for Cancer research that needs to change.

So as I embark upon the single life I can do so with a peace of mind
that no other can have, yesterday she said, "You know I will never
leave you, I'll always be that guardian angel on your shoulder."

Believe me after thirty-eight (almost to the day) of the best years
any person could ask for the woman is good for her word.

After family discussions it was deemed best that Mindy's Memorial
would best work after the holidays and this wave of bad weather
has moved on.
