• National Convention – Mike Smith

SFR won the Communications Award at the Leadership Luncheon.
Mike indicated that he liked the value that came out of the convention.  The meeting of jumbo regions was very productive.  The other Jumbo regions have most of the same issues that we do.  A proposal was put forth for the jumbo REs to get together for a conference call every other month.  The new membership system will be evaluated down the road.  Jim Julow wants to give it a chance to work.  PRO paid a 10K dividend to National.  The Runoffs are doing as well as expected.  Car counts are down.  Jumbos seem to not like the Runoff program.  They feel that some reformatting needs to be done.  Mike will be writing a recap of the Jumbo meeting for Jim Julow.

Insurance was another issue addressed at the convention.  Solo and Pro Rally incidents in the past have impacted the present rates.
