The Region That Knows How

The SF Region organizes and operates motorsport activities in the Northern California area. Our interests include Road Racing, Solo, Vintage Racing, and Concours D'Elegance.

Boasting a membership of over 4,600 strong, the SFR is the largest SCCA region in the USA. It operates road racing events at and Thunderhill Park, Infineon Raceway, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, and autocross events at Oakland Coliseum, Candlestick Park, Castle Air Field, Marina Airfield, San Joaquin Fairgrounds in Stockton, and other sites around Northern California, nearly all year round.

Volunteer Race Officials from SFR are renowned for their ability to staff and operate a racing event in the most professional manner possible.

Club volunteers are the backbone of our organization. We are always seeking and recruiting interested members to demonstrate a variety of skills, all the while having an exciting adventure.
