BOD Members in attendance:
Bryan Nemy, Mike Smith, David Allen, Peter Nosler, Ed Railton

Vintage
Bill will be at BOD meetings representing Vintage.
The goal of Vintage is to get 300 competitors at events.
Discussed advertising for Vintage events.
Usual attendance is 1/4 to 1/3 from Northwest region.
Friday test days have been lightly subscribed.
Suggested that David Vodden run test days. Bruce and Bill will discuss with David Vodden
Anyone is allowed to participate in Vintage test days (discussed)
Ian will contact Bruce and Bill
Bruce mentioned working with Paddock Chiefs
Working with Gary Meeker on Small bore and sports racer at vintage event
Porsche is featured marque at Wine Country Vintage
Peter Nosler suggested a New event at Thunderhill in April. Mike Smith will put discussion on calendar

Thunderhill report
Starting today gravel will be added near camping area
Waiting for dry ground to do 2nd bore for bathroom
New asphalt needed at 11, 14, 15
Mike Smith will ask David Vodden to paint lines on 11 and 14
Discussed off track problem. Mike Smith will talk to Jim Rogaski about this issue.

Region Administration
Social Bank Account has been set up
Purchased equipment for publishing The Wheel
Need to schedule group 2 drivers meeting on 6-10
Working with Hall of Fame committee
BOD decided it was OK to use VIP points for Hall of Fame dinner
Rallycross and Rallycross school is same weekend as Hall of Fame race

Thunderhill Race recap
Nice weekend

Was an issue with Porta Pottie maintenance

Jim Julow Visit
RJ will help facilitate a trip to SFR preferably at a Thunderhill event

Peter and Mike Smith on Saturday

Porsche is featured Marque

Monterey Historics
Peter Nosler will discuss with Steve Earl the SFR involvement

Secretary's Report
Mike Smith will check with Morris and have prior minutes sent to BOD for an email approval
BOD should respond to Mike Smith with any changes

Treasurer's Report
Went over compilation report
Approval is tentative after Sherry Grantz checks numbers
Approved David Allen moved, Ed Railton seconded, passed

Laguna Toilets
Asked by Laguna to donate $50K to put in pump system to pump toilets to leach field.
Good for small events
Porta Potties cost us about $4k per year ($1,200 per event)
We would get free flush toilets now and into the future as part of the renewal contract
Motion for Peter Nosler to draft an agreement
This agreement was deemed to be a financial decision
David Allen moved, Ed Railton seconded, passed
Morris and Blake approved via email

Tom Lepper is selling the company
Peter Nosler is looking at 4 other award companies
Looked at a company that he liked in Redwood City (Krefeld's)
Looking for variety and good quality
Want to stick with the picture awards for year end

Solo
Tour and ProSolo events at Atwater got great reviews from attendees and a nice thank you letter from Cindy Jansen of Nationals
Will be looking at other sites for next years Tour and ProSolo as Castle will become a Commercial Airport sometime this year
Rallycross
National Rallycross in June going as scheduled

David Allen
Thunderhill School worked well for driver development
Announcers now have a remote mike and can move around the track for remote announcing
Driver Observers:
Need support for volunteers
Could be a topic for the Stewards meeting
A national license is required for this position
Peter Nosler suggested that video evidence might be good for proving incidents
Membership
Still need to find a chief
Will have a booth at San Jose Grand Prix
Some Solo people may be able to help with Membership booth at San Jose

Social is content for now
Radio
Question on proper license for using radios. Will talk to Kevin
Ed Railton will let Mike Smith know of progress

Paddock is doing a great job
Flagging
There were 2 people short at the Thunderhill Race. Got some volunteers to fill in.
We should all let the chiefs know that we appreciate the good job that they are doing

Goals
Ed Railton
Spec Miata engine project document was reviewed. It shows the horsepower differences
Mike Smith wants to give Ed Railton a budget to come up with some awards for the Crate Motor competitors.
Cost per engine for certification is $400. Can get discount to $200 for the first 8 engines

The BOD should think of VIP point usage before next year.
