Red Candle Get Together - October 27

We will be having a "red candle" for Brian Fitzgerald and all the others we have
lost this past season on Saturday evening.  People are encouraged to attend and bring their memories and stories to share about our lost friends.

In memory of Brian Fitzgerald, his family would like to offer you the opportunity to honor him by contributing to a memorial for him to be placed at Laguna Seca. Full information is on Brian's page.

The ITE Grand Prix of Monterey

ITE will be the Feature Class at the October 26 & 27 Laguna Seca Regional. In addition to their normal regional race in the 103 dB Group 1 race, there will also be a special second 103dB ITE only race with many great prizes (some for finish position, more will be random at this special celebration for ITE racers).

You must enter the October 26-28 Regional in ITE (Group 1). You can enter if your car is currently legal in any of these classes:  ITE, ITR, ITS, ITA, ITB, ITC, SM, T1, T2, T3, SSB, SSC, Spec 944, ST, PRO-7, SRX-7, RS, HC and probably a few others if you meet these 3 simple requirements:
1. Tub frame (no tube frame cars).
2. D.O.T. tires (no slicks).
3. IT safety equipment.

You can dual enter into ITE if you are running for points in another class in another group. Dual entry fee for same car / same driver is $155. A dual entry means you can run in all Group 1 sessions, and the ITE Grand Prix on Sunday.

The regional races are on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, the Racing Drivers Club will be putting on their annual 4 Hour Illgen Enduro. Talk about quality track time at Laguna, this is the weekend! The Enduro requires a minimum of two drivers and a minimum of two pit stops of at least five minutes each.
